Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Occasional weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on clinical needs. Work hours are dependent on patient care and operational demands.
Preferred Skills: Ability to draw patient blood. Phlebotomy experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Actual compensation offered in the Pay Range of $21.85- $32.80 for an MA or $24.10 - $36.15 for an LPN and will be based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience and/or training.
We're Looking For:
Licensure or Certifications
  • LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
  • MA: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required.

Degrees:
  • GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
  • LPN: Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing
  • MA: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.

What You'll Do:
Schedule: Per diem, as needed. Hours would be between Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Occasional weekend and holiday hours.
As a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll play a vital role in the care team - supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.
As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:
  • Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
  • Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
  • Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Aurora BayCare offers reproductive endocrinology services and a team of fertility specialists. We are the only nationally accredited full-service fertility clinic in Northeast Wisconsin. Aurora BayCare has been recognized as a Reproductive Resource Services Centers of Excellence by OptumHealth. A Center of Excellence designation is given to medical centers combining superior clinical care with excellent patient support.
We offer highly trained specialists in a local, state-of-the-art fertility clinic to provide you with the most advanced assisted reproductive techniques available.
We have our own on-site endocrinology laboratory for blood tests, hormone tests, and semen analysis. We also have an on-site embryology laboratory to assist couples.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
  • Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
  • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
  • Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
  • Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
  • May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
  • Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
  • Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
  • Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.
