Job description

We are seeking Clinical Lab Nursing Instructors who are available to commit to a schedule of one or more of the same days or evenings per week, starting the Fall 2026 semester. Classes will be taught at both the Passaic and Sussex campuses.

This is a part-time, hourly position.

Examples of Duties:

  • Provide instruction and supervision in clinical skills to nursing students in various clinical settings throughout the community
  • Provide instruction and supervision in the nursing skills lab setting, including skills validations
  • Provide regular and ongoing communication regarding student performance in the clinical and lab settings.
  • Perform mid-semester and end-of semester clinical evaluations (and as needed)
  • Provide remediation to students as needed
  • Must maintain regular, ongoing communication with the Course Lead Faculty/Course Coordinator regarding clinical updates, student progress, etc.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment in the nursing skills lab, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree with a major in Nursing is required
  • Current New Jersey RN License (active and unencumbered)
  • Current clinical practice in area of specialty is required


The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is $65.
