Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for organizing and stocking supplies to support facility operations. Answers phones, takes and delivers messages, and greets customers as they enter and exit the facility. Explains, promotes, and registers members for programs, classes, activities, and general membership. Teaches members and guests basic equipment setup and ensures proper use. Reports complaints, ensures member sign-in, maintains equipment maintenance records, and enforces facility rules and regulations.


Essential Functions

Provides customer service by interacting with patrons and answering questions.

Educates participants on proper equipment use and facility guidelines.

Ensures that the fitness and cardio areas meet safety and compliance practices.

Maintains cleanliness and organization of fitness areas and equipment.

Disinfects and cleans equipment regularly.

Acts as a first responder and follows emergency protocols.

Manages conflicts professionally in accordance with KDMC policy.

Performs opening and closing procedures for fitness and cardio areas.

Markets and promotes facilities and programs to patrons.

Performs other duties as assigned.


Education Requirement

High school diploma or equivalent


Experience Requirement

0-2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area


An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

All experience must be paid and in the same related field.

Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.


Certifications & Licensures

CPR and FIrst AId certifications within 6 months of hire
