The Bartender & Tour Guide serves as a key ambassador of the guest experience by delivering exceptional beverage service while also providing engaging, informative tours of the property, facility, or operation. This position prioritizes bartending responsibilities, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, quality beverage preparation, and outstanding guest service. During designated tour times, the employee will educate and entertain guests through professionally led tours that highlight the company's history, products, operations, and brand story.


The ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, service-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.


** Wednesday- Sunday shifts available with Fridays and Saturdays required. **
$18.00 and hour + tip eligibility.


Roles and Responsibilities

Bartender Responsibilities (Primary Role)

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and service standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and engaging bar experience.
  • Verify guest age and maintain compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies.
  • Process guest transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service areas, and guest seating spaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking, ordering, and replenishment of supplies.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service standards.
  • Build guest relationships through product knowledge, recommendations, and personalized service.
  • Support special events, tastings, and hospitality programs as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with all hospitality, culinary, and operations team members.

Tour Guide Responsibilities (Secondary Role)

  • Conduct scheduled tours for guests in a professional, engaging, and entertaining manner.
  • Share information about the company's history, products, operations, heritage, and brand values.
  • Provide accurate and consistent messaging aligned with company standards.
  • Answer guest questions and create interactive experiences that enhance visitor engagement.
  • Maintain awareness of guest safety during tour operations.
  • Assist in managing tour reservations, guest check-in, and group coordination.
  • Promote products, services, memberships, events, and retail offerings when appropriate.
  • Gather guest feedback and communicate opportunities for improving the visitor experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to engage groups of varying sizes and demographics.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, or company products preferred.
  • Valid alcohol server certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a tour guide, educator, museum docent, winery guide, brewery guide, or hospitality host.
  • Knowledge of local tourism and hospitality industry.
  • Experience with POS systems and reservation platforms.
