Job description

Activities Assistant | Jeffrey & Susan Brudnick Center for Living
$19.00 - $21.00/hour, based on experience
Part -Time | 10:00AM – 4:00PM | Sat, Sun

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

  • Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' individual needs and care goals.
  • Document participation and progress accurately.
  • Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
  • Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.

Qualifications for Success:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills – specifically with MS Office including Work, Publisher, Outlook email, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
