Job description
We are seeking candidates to join our team and help us shape the future of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire! We are seeking qualified, dedicated candidates who are looking for part-time teaching opportunities. Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period only.
CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.
We have a need for an instructor for the following courses in our Computer Information Systems program:
Fall 2026 Courses:
CIS141L Intermediate Programming (Java or Instructor Choice with Approval) Online, Live Zoom
Spring 2027 Courses:
CIS 140L Introduction to Programming (Python) Online, Live Zoom
CIS 216L Advanced Programming (C++ or Java) Online, Live Zoom
CIS 234L Website Design Online, Live Zoom
CIS 276L Developing Web Applications Online, Live Zoom
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in the subject/content area, or a Masters degree in Education with twelve (12) graduate credits in the subject/content area or closely related to the teaching assignment and a Bachelors degree in the subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment combined with a minimum of two years of related teaching and/or professional work experience is preferred. Individuals with a Bachelors degree in the subject/content area or closely related field to the teaching assignment, or a Bachelors degree in Education and an Associates degree in the subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment combined with three (3) years of related teaching or professional work experience shall be considered as meeting the subject/content area requirements. Individuals must possess required licenses or certifications as required within the field.
License/Certification: Valid drivers license required.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Moodle, Google Classroom, Blackboard, etc.

Salary: The compensation rate is $800-$950 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
Offers of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of the requisite background check.
