Successful candidates will be very comfortable working in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. We take a very team-oriented approach to investment banking, and therefore, also focus on team chemistry in our hiring process.

We are recruiting for our next Investment Banking Analyst class. Oppenheimer provides Analysts with a high level of responsibility and extensive access to senior management and clients. Analysts can expect to be involved in a variety of transactions, including financings, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalization and restructuring assignments. Transaction teams at Oppenheimer are typically small in size, providing Analysts with an opportunity for significant responsibilities early in their career. We will consider Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 graduates for the program.

Analysts’ responsibilities include:

  • Prepare complex financial analyses and models
  • Conduct due diligence investigations of client companies
  • Support the preparation of detailed memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of client companies
  • Research potential buyers/investors and
  • Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm

Compensation:

For job postings in Baltimore, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of Baltimore and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The current base salary offered for this role is $100,000.00 per year. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
