Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you enjoy talking to people and sharing helpful resources? We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Community Outreach Ambassadors —on a flexible, as-needed basis.


Position: Community Outreach Ambassador (part time and as needed)

Location: Orlando, FL 32806 - Events will be throughout the Orange county area (mileage reimbursed)

Hours: Varies depending on outreach events - must be flexible. Schedule will be provided at least 1-3 weeks in advance and must be available to work during evenings and weekends

Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Community Outreach Ambassador Responsibilities:

  • Engage with community members at various events, including schools, civic organizations, and public gatherings, to promote voter registration and participation.
  • Assist in staffing outreach events, ensuring to cover the event from beginning to end.
  • Provide information about the voting process, registration deadlines, and election dates.
  • Protect the confidentiality of registration, Vote-by-Mail requests, ballots and/or any additional private information.
  • Assist with imaging, processing mail, and processing petitions.
  • Conduct supervised voting at assisted living facilities and nursing homes, by delivering ballots and helping voters update voter information.


What will you need as a Community Outreach Ambassador?

  • Be available to work during evenings and weekends, as outreach events often occur outside regular business hours.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public and on a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours are essential.
  • Always maintain a professional and nonpartisan manner.
  • A current valid Florida driver license is required.
