Job description

Description:

At Accomplished Security Inc. (ASI), our mission is to provide clients with top-quality, professional security services that exceed expectations. ASI recruits and manages extraordinary personnel from a vast network of trusted, career-oriented security professionals. We deliver on our promises by forging an individualized relationship with each client, built on a foundation of mutual respect, trust, and inclusion.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an elite, highly detail-oriented Command Center Operator to oversee security operations for a sophisticated, high-security corporate and laboratory campus in Irvine, CA. This is a critical, fast-paced role that demands a unique blend of sharp technical surveillance skills, proactive radio dispatching, and calm precision under pressure.

This position is far more than passive monitoring. As the central nervous system of the facility's security apparatus, you will manage complex access control networks, oversee comprehensive interior/exterior CCTV arrays, and serve as the primary dispatcher for live field operations. Because this campus features highly sensitive laboratory spaces subject to strict federal and CDC regulatory audits, compliance, vigilance, and rapid incident resolution are paramount.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting Pay: $21.00 / hour
  • Hours of Work: Full-Time / Part-Time (Monday – Sunday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Benefits: Full-Time employees (working 30+ hours weekly) are eligible for comprehensive health insurance, paid vacation time, a 401(k) plan, and voluntary dental, accidental, and critical illness coverage.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Surveillance Excellence: Maintain continuous, high-vigilance monitoring of complex interior/exterior CCTV networks and access control systems, specifically safeguarding sensitive laboratory environments and high-clearance sectors.
  • Tactical Dispatch & Communications: Serve as the central dispatch hub. Coordinate real-time responses to alarms, door infractions, and unusual activity by directing and instructing on-duty field officers via radio networks.
  • Audit & Compliance Readiness: Respond instantly to access control and door alarms to ensure the campus remains strictly compliant with rigorous CDC and external regulatory audit standards.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as a direct, highly professional liaison between facility management, client personnel, vendors, and security supervision. Provide clear, articulate updates and briefings upon request.
  • Incident Documentation: Author comprehensive, highly accurate, and  legally defensible incident reports for corporate leadership and investigative purposes.
  • Emergency Coordination: Exercise exceptional composure and definitive decision-making during highly stressful or critical safety events, adhering strictly to established emergency protocols.
  • Versatility: Remain fully capable of executing standard Security Guard duties or field assignments when operationally required.
Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements: To excel in this high-accountability role, candidates must demonstrate superior multi-tasking capabilities, sharp technical acumen, and an uncompromised work ethic.

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Education: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or offer 5+ years of verifiable high-level security experience.
  • Licensing & Certifications: Possess a valid, current California Security Guard Card (and maintain validity throughout employment). Be currently certified in CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills. Must be capable of drafting flawless, informative technical reports and speaking confidently with corporate clients and executive personnel.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced computer skills. Must demonstrate the ability to rapidly learn, manipulate, and master complex, site-specific security software, wireless technology, matrix CCTV setups, and automated access control databases.
  • Cognitive Capabilities: Proven ability to handle high-stress crisis scenarios calmly and efficiently. Superior multitasking skills are mandatory to handle simultaneous phone lines, radio traffic, and visual data streams.
  • Background Clearance: Must successfully complete a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Reliability: Possess or have unfettered access to reliable transportation, a consistently positive attitude, and an impeccable standard of ethical behavior.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to work in variable weather environments (cold, rain, heat) if deployed to the field.
    • Ability to stand, walk, or climb stairs/ramps for extended durations during a shift.
    • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
