Job description

Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor performs a number of custodial functions as well as light mechanical maintenance to ensure the appearance and cleanliness of the facility contributes to the overall atmosphere and experience of all employees and customers.
This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$23.00
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open until August 14, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Regular site housekeeping and unsafe hazard inspections.
  • Takes corrective action to address any conditions that are not acceptable.
  • Changes light bulbs as appropriate.
  • Responds immediately to any spills.
  • Empties trash receptacles.
  • Performs light mechanical maintenance.
  • Performs sweeping, mopping, moving of various items, and shoveling snow.
  • Reports safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to a manager.
  • Cleans hanging signs and dusts overhead pipes.
  • Maintains and reports inventory of supplies.
  • Completes the Employee Daily Checklist and addresses unsatisfactory remarks.
  • All other duties as may be assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications
  • Previous hazardous materials training and janitorial and light maintenance work history are preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Maintenance role. Some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to lift heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and complete reports.
