Job description

The Central Jersey Medical Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center looking to hire Part Time Mobile Driver. Hours may vary. Established in the year 2002, the CJMC has a main location in Perth Amboy, location in Carteret, and 3 School Based Health Centers located in Newark, NJ.

Location Perth Amboy


  • Drive mobile dental van to and from assigned host facility.
  • Responsible for set up and take down of van daily at assigned location.  This could include readying satellite for daily use, booting up computers, maintaining water levels and fluids, and checking gauges and equipment.  Daily pre-trip, destination and departure inspections should be completed for safety and maintained in the daily safety log.
  • Responsible for complete upkeep of the van including ensuring monthly maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes readily.
  • Ability to follow instructions, given either orally or in writing.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Demonstrate effective follow-through with all tasks.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Working knowledge of CJMC policies and procedures.
  • Able to work as a team player.

Two years’ experience driving a large commercial vehicle, CDL B license, clean driving record, knowledge of traffic laws and ability to complete a yearly physical as set by CDL licensure.

  • High School Diploma and/ or two to three years related administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
