Floor Care Technician

Job Summary:

At Briarwood Nursing and Rehab, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Care Technician to join our team in Flint, Michigan. As a key member of our environmental services department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our residents and staff. Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize rooms, corridors, and common areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and buffers, to clean floors and remove dirt and debris
• Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in trash cans and recycling bins
• Restock supplies and materials, including paper products, toiletries, and linens
• Participate in deep cleaning and disinfection of high-touch areas and surfaces
• Perform special cleaning projects as assigned by the supervisor
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained
