Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Environmental Sample Courier to transport environmental samples between client locations and laboratory facilities throughout Western New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and maintaining sample integrity during transport.

This position involves regular driving between Rochester, Buffalo, Dunkirk, Hornell, and other regional sites, with routes varying based on project needs.

Responsibilities
  • Pick up environmental samples from client facilities, field locations, and project sites.
  • Safely transport samples to designated laboratory and office locations.
  • Maintain proper chain-of-custody documentation and sample handling procedures.
  • Ensure samples are stored and transported according to established temperature and handling requirements.
  • Communicate pickup and delivery status with project managers and laboratory personnel.
  • Follow established routes while adapting to changing schedules and priorities.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and site personnel.
Qualifications
  • Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive extended distances throughout Western New York.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
