Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) residential home community. The nurse will play a vital role in supporting residents' health and well-being by coordinating with healthcare providers and promoting a safe, supportive environment that enhances the quality of life.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor the health of residents, including vital signs, symptoms, and progress notes.
  • Administer and monitor medications, ensuring appropriate levels in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each resident.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure health plans are current and effective.
  • Participate in staff training and development activities.
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Current and valid LPN or RN license.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) preferred.
