Position Summary
Baton Rouge Country Club is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our Fitness Center team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and can work both independently and collaboratively to ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the Fitness and Tennis Center to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors throughout the facility.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and other high-touch areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the men's and women's locker rooms.
  • Restock locker room amenities, toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and interior/exterior furniture.
  • Ensure all public areas remain clean, orderly, and member-ready throughout each shift.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages promptly to management.
  • Follow all cleaning procedures and safety guidelines while using cleaning products and equipment.
  • Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
