Description

Saz's State House is looking for a part-time Host/Hostess to join our restaurant team. In this role, you will greet guests as they enter, ensuring friendly helpful service and proactively meeting their needs. You will monitor phones, booking reservations or accepting telephone and "to-go" orders as needed. The host/hostess will coordinate all pick-ups and delivery orders. You will assist service staff as needed. You must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Follow all training guidelines, instructions and service standards
  • Accurately take and input telephonic guest orders for food and beverage, including any modifications
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy entering discounts, coupons and payments
  • Complete assigned tasks to ensure appropriate stock or prep levels of products, clean and tidy work spaces, etc.
  • Address guest needs and questions, including providing accurate information about menu items, allergens, and ingredients

Essential job functions:

  • Consistent, regular attendance as scheduled
  • Stand and walk up to 8 hours at a time
  • Lift and easily maneuver items up to 25 lbs to chest level or higher
