Job Title: RN Supervisor (Weekends) – Part Time
Facility: Ambassador Healthcare at College Park
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Shift: Part Time – Saturday & Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM
Pay Rate: $38 - $41 per hour

Position Summary:
Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking a dependable and experienced Part-Time RN Supervisor to join our team on weekends. This role is perfect for a skilled RN who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring compliance with all nursing protocols. You will play a vital role in weekend operations and resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director and Associate Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations.

  • Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring proper care delivery and adherence to policies.

  • Participate in surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections.

  • Help develop and update individualized resident care plans.

  • Provide evaluations and coaching to LPNs and CNAs; support disciplinary actions when necessary.

  • Communicate resident issues with physicians, families, and administrative staff.

  • Ensure adequate staffing and manage shift transitions.

  • Conduct rounds to monitor care quality and staff performance.

  • Respond to and investigate incidents or grievances; ensure timely reporting and documentation.

  • Deliver direct patient care as needed, including medication and treatment oversight.

  • Complete MDS documentation and collaborate with MDS staff.

  • Maintain emergency preparedness, accurate narcotic counts, and up-to-date records.

  • Monitor new and re-admitted residents to prevent re-hospitalization.

  • Support discharge planning in coordination with social services and medical staff.

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Florida.

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing home experience.

  • Strong leadership, clinical, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
