What Does a Part-Time Home Inspector Do?

As a part-time home inspector, you inspect residential properties, usually on behalf of an existing or potential homeowner. Depending on the status of the property, you may also schedule repairs, highlight safety problems, or make recommendations about the site. Home inspections are non-invasive, visual examinations that use engineering principles and an understanding of proper design to find and explain problems.
