About the Position

Goodwin Home Health is currently seeking a PRN/On-Call Registered Nurses to work daytime hoursWe offer work-life balance, along with outstanding pay and benefits. You will work with our dynamic and passionate team at Goodwin Home Health. In your role as RN, you will develop and safely deliver high-quality skilled Home Health nursing services to seniors living in their homes. Goodwin House Home Health provides skilled care throughout Northern Virginia, focusing on the counties of: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudoun.

Job Duties

  • Performs/completes OASIS documentation.
  • Performs a detailed assessment resulting in the development of a patient specific Plan of Care. Client clinical record documentation is done per agency policy.
  • Provides direct nursing care in a Home Health setting under the guidelines of a physician’s order.
  • Communicates with other team members regarding the Plan of Care and works closely with team members for optimal outcomes.
  • Effectively communicates with referring physicians and provides accurate treatment notes and other necessary documentation in a timely manner, per policy.
  • Prepares for patient discharge planning as soon as possible along with informing and preparing the patient, team members and physician.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Currently licensed by the state board of nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least one-year acute care experience, Home Health preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Possess a driver's license, proof of automobile insurance and readily available, reliable transportation.
