Armed Security Officer - Healthcare Facility

Prosegur Security is looking for Full-Time Armed Security Officers for one of our Healthcare networks in the Greenwich, CT area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills.
Shifts include Looking to fill multiple positions!!
Full-Time & Part time
Weekend Availability is a must
Hourly starting wage: $ 30.00
Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:
Follow established healthcare and Department standard precautions and procedures in the performance of all duties and responsibilities to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.
Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements and specific post instructions.
Mandatory qualification and training on handguns and other necessary equipment and general safety procedures.
Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an armed Security Officer.
Meet Prosegur attendance and punctuality requirements to be on your assigned post on time to ensure proper coverage and quality services to patients, visitors and employees.
Qualifications:
CT Guard License
CT State Licensed Carry Permit (Class 1 or Higher)- Unrestricted
Mandatory Firearm Qualification Screening
4+ Years Prior Law Enforcement, Military, Armed Security Officer or Executive Protection Experience Required
22+ years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent required (Higher Education also Accepted)
Expectations for professional attire, personal hygiene, and appropriate conduct while on duty
Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screening, background investigation
Excellent communication skills and good judgment
Ability to stand for 8 hours
Ability to remain calm in a stressful situation
Must commit to all mandatory company trainings.
Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:
Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
