Overview

As a member of the Guest Services Event Staff Team, you will be an essential part of the guest experience and help build memories that last a lifetime. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the arena. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, ushering, ticket scanning, concourse customer service, and/or greeter You will have the opportunity to assist our guests by offering directions and sharing information while creating a world-class experience. Your job will be to keep our fans safe and informed while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.77

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, clients, and visitors by responding to questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive event experience.
  • Greet guests, verify or collect tickets as assigned, and direct guests to their seats or other venue locations.
  • Ensure guest compliance with venue policies regarding outside food, beverages, cameras, and other prohibited items.
  • Monitor guest conduct and proactively assist guests to ensure a safe and enjoyable event experience.
  • Recognize, address, and resolve guest concerns and conflicts using effective communication and sound judgment.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the venue.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or incidents to supervisory staff immediately.
  • Perform crowd management and access control duties during events.
  • Serve as a member of the emergency evacuation team by directing guests to designated exits during emergencies.
  • Monitor emergency exits and provide assistance to guests with disabilities or special needs.
  • Relocate to various positions throughout the venue as operational needs require.
  • Distribute event materials and informational items to guests as assigned.
  • Follow all event procedures, safety protocols, and supervisory instructions.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer service, guest services, or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, clients, and coworkers while maintaining a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm, professional, and diplomatic while addressing guest concerns and inquiries.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining flexible and contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities while working under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistently meet established standards.
  • Ability to follow simple to complex, multi-step instructions with a high degree of precision.
  • Ability to maintain concentration and focus on detailed tasks for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, and move throughout the venue for extended periods.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry objects without assistance.
