Job Description

Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of dental procedures, performing four-handed dentistry effectively.
Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and readily available.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring patient safety and diagnostic quality.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and infection control guidelines.
Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene instructions, and answer their questions clearly and kindly.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting.
Manage dental supplies and inventory, ensuring efficient stock levels.
Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their visit.
Perform other administrative or clinical duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager.

Salary Range

Part-time $25 - $35 per hour

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Current Dental Assistant registration/certification as required by Washington State regulations.
Current CPR certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Dependable and punctual.

Preferences

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a general or specialty dental practice.
Recent graduates from an accredited Dental Assisting program are highly encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with dental practice management software.
Experience with digital radiography.
