Job Profile
JOB SUMMARY:
To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of Interventional Radiology (IR) equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred; Current CPR certification
Work Experience (Years and Area): 2 years staff IR Technologist
Equipment Operated: IR equipment, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Writing /Composing (Correspondence/Reports)
Other Skills:
Analytical, CRT, Medical Terms, P.C.
Advanced Education:
Advance Training Specialty: Graduated from an approved School of Radiologic Technology; IR Certification
