Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Waukegan, IL
Hire Type: Part time (20 hrs /week onsite) - Contract 6-12 month project
Compensation: $45-60/hr W2

Overview:
We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a mid-level Engineering or Quality professional to support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of engineering standards and technical documentation. This position plays a key role in ensuring engineering practices remain compliant, standardized, and aligned across the organization. Ideal candidates bring experience working in GMP-regulated environments and thrive in cross-functional settings.
Job Duties:
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of engineering standards, procedures, and technical documentation
- Coordinate updates and revisions to controlled engineering documents and ensure proper version control
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to implement standardization initiatives and process updates
- Help ensure engineering practices align with GMP requirements and internal compliance expectations
- Track documentation changes and support audit readiness and process consistency efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in engineering, quality systems, compliance, or technical documentation environments
- Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
