Position Overview

The Maintenance Operator I support the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Maintain the greens, including mowing, plugging, verticutting, sodding, and ball mark repairs.

  • Change cups, pin locations, and tee placements; repair divots.

  • Check and maintain good condition of cups, flags, and tee markers.

  • Check ball washers, empty trash, and remove course debris.

  • Communicate effectively with all team members and guests.

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or needs of the club.

Requirements

  • Understanding of the game of golf and importance of course conditions

In addition, the ideal candidate will be or have:

  • Appropriate state pesticide applicators license

  • Previous golf course or landscape maintenance experience

Physical Demands
