Job Summary
Assists in tracking pace of play, maintaining order on the golf course, and providing excellent customer service.
Essential Functions
1. Assist golfers when needed to assure rules and playing procedures are adhered to.
2. Responsible for the set up and break down of the practice range.
3. Stages and maintains cleanliness of carts to and from the cart barn.
4. Greets guests and assists with loading and unloading their clubs.
5. Assists in transporting guests to and from the practice range.
6. Performs daily maintenance on golf carts and range carts as well as other minor maintenance that might be needed.
7. Assists in the staging and set-up for shotgun events.
8. Helps maintain the cleanliness of clubhouse and grounds around the clubhouse and practice range.
9. Assists Golf Maintenance team when needed.
10. Assists with any other duties related to the Golf operations and guest services.
11. Performs related duties as directed when such duties are a logical and appropriate assignment to the position.
12. Regular and timely attendance are required for this position.
13. Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
โ€ข Must have excellent customer service and skills.
โ€ข Must have reliable transportation.
โ€ข Must be able to work for long hours and stand for extended periods of time (minimum of four hours at a time).

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Minimum age 16.
Prefer knowledge of the game of golf, rules and etiquette.
Some reading, writing and simple math skills are needed as well as the physical coordination to operate equipment.
Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check. Must have a valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy.
Must pass a pre-employment basic physical, drug screen and functional assessment screening (Level 1).
