Description
Purpose of Position: Under the supervision of the golf course Superintendent, this position ensures proper conditions suitable for play. This specifically refers to mowing greens, fairways, and rough, and to cooperating with the Superintendent to ensure all tasks are completed.
Essential Functions:
  • Maintain golf course, i.e., mowing greens, fairways, rough, etc.
  • Communicate to the Superintendent clearly about the task at hand.
  • Repair damaged parts of the golf course.
  • Maintain the course's cleanliness at all times.
  • Ensure all golf course equipment is properly taken care of.
  • Maintain proper safety protocols when on the job.

Requirements
  • Prior Lawn care experience.
  • Ability to operate machinery such as lawn mowers, tractors, weedeaters, blowers, etc.
  • Knowledge of golf and turfgrass.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work early in the morning, along with weekends and holidays.
