Job description

The City of Greer is currently accepting applications for a part-time Golf Cart Attendant in the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department at the City of Greer's golf course.
Responsibilities:
• Prepares golf carts for daily use by customers
• Greets customers and assists with loading and unloading equipment on carts
• Cleans and washes carts after each use
• Picks up golf balls on driving range, cleans balls, and prepares for re-use
• Repairs divots on the course as needed
• Maintains cleanliness of putting green
• Cleans paths, sidewalks, parking lots, and exterior of clubhouse
• Secures building and carts each night
• Provides relative information regarding golf course conditions, local rules, expected playing time, golf course safety, emergency procedures, golf course etiquette, and other golf related issues
• Verifies receipts of players
• Assists players as necessary with carts, scorecards, and rules of play
• Maintains clean and orderly appearance of the starter's area at all times
• Provides emergency assistance to golfers as necessary
• Observes and coordinates pace of play
Hours: Consists of morning shifts (7am - noon) and evening shifts (3pm - 9pm), totaling approximately 25 hours per week.
Salary: Minimum $16.00 hourly
