Job description

The Refuge Golf Course, located in Flowood, MS, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Guest Service Cart Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).
Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Bring carts from the cart barn in the morning and return carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
  • Clean, water, and check carts after each use and restock as required
  • Clean and maintain cart barn
  • Ensure the carts are available for player use at all times
  • Receive and communicate complaints to the Golf Shop
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Must have strong customer/guest orientation
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be dependable
  • Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
  • Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
  • Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
