Job description

Job Title: Short-Term Part-Time Line Cook
Location: Montaup Country Club, Portsmouth, RI

Duration: ASAP to 11/22/26 (approx. 11 weeks)
Pay: $20 per hour, plus (1) round of golf per week worked
Schedule: 20-25 hours per week, Saturdays a must, (All shifts fall between 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

About Us:

Montaup Country Club is a high-volume golf course featuring a restaurant open to members, guests, and the public. We are seeking an adaptable line cook to join our kitchen team for the remainder of our busy season.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with shift prep and stocking as needed to ensure a smooth-running service.
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the Head Chef.
  • Clean up station and prep for the next shift.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

What We Need From You:

  • Experience working as a line cook or prep cook.
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment and handles golf course variables like sudden weather shifts and unpredictable customer rushes with a positive attitude.
  • Able to execute kitchen duties independently during solo shifts or slower periods.
  • Reliable attendance for the full short-term period.
