Join Our Growing Start-Up: Dual-Role Dental Professional Wanted

Glow Up Dentistry PLLC is looking for a versatile and energetic professional with both "front" and "back" office experience to join our two-year start-up general dentistry practice. We are seeking a multi-talented individual who can seamlessly transition between assisting the dentist and coordinating office operations. If you are agile, professional, and looking for a role that offers variety and growth, we would love to have you on our team.
Glow Up Dentistry PLLC is a vibrant small business located in a modern office setting. As a growing start-up, we pride ourselves on being agile, professional, and fun. Our primary goal is to create an atmosphere of comfort for our patients and a lively, safe work environment for our staff. We believe that dental visits should be an experience patients look forward to, and we maintain a positive energy to make that a reality.

Dental Assistant

Job Description

Clinical Assistance: Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures and perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history.
Imaging: Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays.
Sterilization: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
Patient Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and ensure patients are comfortable and ready for their procedures.
Education: Provide patients with post-surgical care instructions and educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Administrative Operations: Manage front-desk duties, including scheduling, medical coding, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Salary Range

Part-time $20 - $26 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Work hours: M:9:30am-6pm: Tu:8:30-5: Thurs: 7-3

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Experienced Dental Assistant (2+ years)
  • General Dentistry

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
Current X-ray certification.
Knowledge of medical coding and documentation standards.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Proficiency in dental and office software (experience with systems like CAD or Epic is highly valued).

Preferences

Experience working with pediatric patients.
Previous experience in a start-up or fast-paced dental environment.
Strong multitasking abilities to handle both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
