When our country's cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough-we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect our defense infrastructure, we need strategic policy development. That's why we need you, a cyber strategic planning specialist with the skills to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.
As a Data Scientist on our team, you'll research and enable the processing of structured and unstructured data, derive patterns, trends, and correlations, and enable entity extraction, disambiguation, common operating picture solutions, visualization, and other data-related support. You will implement improvements to data entity extraction, entity resolution, pattern extraction, link analysis, human and social-network links or connections, cloud online analytical processing, data frameworks, visualization support, and related algorithms. You'll create, modify, and maintain software capabilities that extract insight from data including information, software applications, machine learning models, automation, and other software components.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience with program management, including managing complex IT projects
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or IT
  • DoDM 8140.03 for Defensive Cyber Workforce (DCWF) Work Role 801 Advanced Level Certification
  • PMI Certification such as PgMP or PMP Certification
  • ITIL 4 Foundation and Managing Professional Framework Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience developing and writing Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Experience reviewing vendor proposals and vendor management to align contracts and SLAs
  • Experience with performance based and award fee contracts
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project tools
  • Knowledge of DoD project or program management practices
  • Ability to lead large, multifunctional teams of 150+ personnel, work independently, and anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams
  • Master's degree in Project Management or IT
  • SAFe Program Consultant Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
