Part time positions are ideal for students, individuals seeking flexible work hours, or those looking to gain experience in the automotive industry. The specific responsibilities can vary depending on the size and type of garage. Most employers look for reliability, basic mechanical knowledge, and a willingness to learn.

What does a part time garage attendant do?

Part-time garage employees are often expected to assist with a variety of tasks, such as basic vehicle maintenance, cleaning and organizing the workspace, managing tools and equipment, and sometimes customer service duties like scheduling appointments or handling payments. Responsibilities can vary based on the size and focus of the garage, but flexibility and the ability to work independently are often valued. Team collaboration is common, especially during busy periods, and the work environment is usually hands-on and fast-paced. This role can provide valuable experience and skill-building opportunities for those interested in automotive careers.
