Position: Garage Attendant 

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr 

Location: Courtyard Downtown Miami

Shift: Saturday and Sunday - 8:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m

To be considered for this role, candidates must be comfortable using a tablet to process customer charges and possess at least basic English speaking skills.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth flow of traffic, monitoring capacity, and maintaining a clean and professional environment for our customers. You will serve as a key point of contact for guests while ensuring the facility operates at peak efficiency.

What You’ll Do:
  • Traffic & Capacity Management: Direct incoming customers to available spaces and monitor vehicle counts throughout the shift to ensure optimal lot usage.

  • Compliance & Enforcement: Patrol parking levels (on foot or in motor carts) and issue violation warnings to those who bypass garage policies.

  • Customer Support: Courteously assist customers with questions, directions, and vehicle location. Direct guests to the Facility Manager when specialized assistance is needed.

  • Maintenance & Safety: Assist with parking equipment repairs and general facility upkeep. Report accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences (like oil spills or debris) to the office immediately.

  • Operational Support: Control traffic at entrances and exits during peak times. Substitute for Valets when authorized and necessary.

  • Local Expertise: Maintain a thorough knowledge of the garage layout, as well as major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the surrounding area


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education & Experience: No high school diploma is required. We welcome candidates with at least one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and background.

  • License Requirement: A valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record is only required if you are expected to drive a company vehicle or conduct company business.

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and accurately handle American currency.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, write short correspondence, and effectively present information to customers and team members.

  • Availability: Shift requirements vary by location. Flexibility to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required.

  • Appearance: Must maintain a neat, clean appearance and wear the complete company uniform at all times.
