Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our functional medicine practice led by a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD). This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who is passionate about identifying root causes, developing personalized treatment plans, and helping patients achieve optimal health through an integrative approach.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and health assessments.
  • Review medical histories, laboratory findings, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret laboratory testing.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle, nutrition, supplementation, and wellness strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the NMD and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications:
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Idaho.
  • DEA license.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
  • Passion for preventative, integrative, and functional medicine.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in functional, integrative, naturopathic, or holistic medicine.
  • Familiarity with hormone optimization, gut health, autoimmune conditions, weight management, metabolic health, and wellness protocols.
  • Training or certification through organizations such as the Institute for Functional Medicine (preferred but not required).
  • Experience interpreting advanced functional medicine laboratory testing.
