Job description

Responsive recruiter
Benefits:
  • Bonus based on performance
  • Flexible schedule
  • Training & development

Are you a Physical Therapist who still loves outpatient care - and wants a schedule that fits your life?
At ProMotion Rehab and Sports Medicine, we believe great clinicians shouldn't have to choose between being present at home and present for their patients. That's why we've built a part-time PT role designed around real life - not the other way around. Connecting purpose driven people to opportunities in Physical Therapy and Fitness is our niche, and it applies whether you are here two days a week or five.
Flexible Scheduling Designed for You
We recognize that many exceptional PTs balance professional growth with family responsibilities or other priorities. Our flexible structure supports real life while maintaining strong patient access and continuity of care.
  • Consistent weekly schedule
  • Minimum commitment: 2 days / 8 hours per week
  • Maximum hours: Up to 29 hours per week

This role is ideal for:
  • Caregivers balancing family or household responsibilities
  • Experienced PTs seeking sustained clinical impact with reduced hours
  • PTs pursuing work-life balance while maintaining meaningful patient relationships
  • Professionals blending outpatient practice with clinical, academic, or community pursuits
What You'll Do
Clinical Leadership & Patient Care
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care (POC)
  • Deliver and supervise skilled, evidence-informed interventions
  • Foster strong therapeutic alliances to promote adherence and engagement
  • Educate patients on diagnosis, recovery expectations, and long-term self-management
  • Drive meaningful functional improvement and successful plan-of-care completion

Team Culture & Professional Growth
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical team members
  • Explore niche development and specialization
  • Build referral relationships through professionalism and clinical excellence
  • Contribute to a positive, energetic, and growth-oriented culture
  • Grow into a full-time role if life circumstances change and the opportunity aligns

Community Impact
  • Advocate for the value of physical therapy within the communities we serve
  • Participate in community events that connect ProMotion to the communities we serve
What Makes You Successful Here
  • You believe deeply in the transformative power of physical therapy
  • You deliver exceptional patient experiences that drive loyalty and advocacy
  • You communicate clearly, confidently, and compassionately
  • You are organized and detail-oriented in a dynamic clinical environment
  • You balance empathy, creativity, and fun with strong clinical reasoning
  • You are motivated to grow clinically and professionally
Requirements
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in South Carolina or compact state (or upcoming graduate)
  • Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills
  • Ability to remain active - standing, walking, and assisting patients throughout the day
Performance Expectations
We set clear goals and support you in reaching them. Once onboarded, you'll work toward:
  • Quality care defined as Net Promoter Score (NPS) 90 or above
  • Accessible care defined as visits per Hour: 1.333 or above (typically 5-6 patients in a 4-hour day)
  • Accurate, timely, and defensible EMR documentation
Why ProMotion Rehab and Sports Medicine?
Founded in 2015, ProMotion's mission is to inspire and promote wellness through comprehensive rehabilitative, preventative and performance services.
We are guided by the values of:
  • Fun - a positive, engaging environment for patients and team alike
  • Excellence - exceptional care and continuous professional growth
  • Community - meaningful relationships that make a lasting impact
  • Education - lifelong learning that empowers our team and our patients

What you'll find here:
  • New grads welcome
  • Mentorship and dedicated support
  • Opportunities for niche development and specialization
  • Energetic, community-driven culture
  • A team committed to helping patients move better, live better, and play better

If you're looking for a place where patients matter, culture matters, and you matter - we invite you to apply today!
Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Connecting purpose driven people to opportunities in Physical Therapy and Fitness. That is our niche, and it is what we are genuinely best at. We are ProMotion Rehab and Sports Medicine, therapist-owned, with five clinics across South Carolina, founded in 2015 in Lake City by Nancy and Andrew Imbeau. If you came into this work because you wanted to change how someone's life goes, not just treat their symptoms, this is a place built for that. We are the host partner for an accredited orthopedic physical therapy residency through the Medical University of South Carolina, offered at all five of our locations and built to prepare clinicians for board certification as an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS). Very few private practices our size offer a path like this. What that looks like here: mentorship from board-certified orthopedic and sports specialists; real subspecialties including golf and TPI, dance medicine, pelvic health, running and endurance, Parkinson's and neuro, gymnastics, ACL return-to-sport, dry needling and manual therapy; clinician-made decisions about caseload and treatment time; part-time schedules starting at two days a week; and roles for physical therapists, assistants, technicians, and personal trainers. Our core values are Fun, a positive and engaging environment for our team and patients alike; Excellence, a relentless pursuit of being a little better today than we were yesterday; Commitment to Community, to our team, the patients we serve, and the referral sources we support; and Education, a desire to continue learning for the advancement of ourselves, our team, and the betterment of our patients. We are guided by People Over Profit, Team Over Self, and Quality Over Quantity. Our goal by 2036 is to be the #1 place to work in Physical Therapy and Fitness in the Carolinas, with 100,000 lives changed.
