Powder House Ski Shop - 3 shops at Alta, UT, and 1 at Holladay, UT
Compensation: $18/hour
Schedule: Part-Time, 2-3 days/week (10-hour shifts)
Seasonal Position: December through April


Job Overview

We are looking for seasonal part-time staff to support our rental and retail operations during the busy winter months. In this role, you'll work alongside a fun, experienced team helping skiers and snowboarders get outfitted for the mountain, while providing great customer service and keeping the shop running smoothly. Responsibilities may include setting up rental equipment, assisting with sales, restocking, and maintaining a clean, welcoming shop environment. All part-time employees must be available for 10-hour shifts (8:00am to 6:00pm), including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with ski rentals, returns, and equipment questions
  • Perform ski binding setups and safety checks (training provided)
  • Support retail sales, stocking, and merchandise organization
  • Keep workspaces clean, functional, and well-presented
  • Help with boot fittings and guest inquiries
  • Jump in where needed to support team flow during peak times

Qualifications

  • Must be available for 10-hour shifts and weekend/holiday work
