Become a Youth Soccer Coach with Soccer Shots Tampa Bay!
Location: Hillsborough County - Closest to where you live!
Schedule (Weekday): Mondays through Fridays: 9am to 12pm, 2pm-4:30pm and 5pm-7:30pm
Schedule (Weekend): Saturdays 8:30am-11:30am and/or Sundays 8:30am-11:30am, 3:30pm-5pm
Pay:
  • Training Pay: $15-$19/hour
  • Pay Rate: $21/hour and $28/hour within the first 3 seasons
  • Opportunities for Quick Advancement: more availability = more hours = quicker advancement = more income
  • BONUS opportunities Weekly and Seasonal!

What We're Looking For
We're expanding our team and looking for Weekday and Saturday coaches to run our energetic, high-impact sessions with children ages 2-8.
Do you have the energy and patience to lead a group of excited three-year-olds?
Can you make 30 minutes the best part of a child's week?
If so, this might be the perfect role for you.
Schedule & Commitment
  • Weekday Afterschool / Day School: 8:45 am - 11:30 am, 12 pm - 2:30 pm, or 3 pm - 4:30 pm
  • Saturday mornings (required): 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Locations: Hillsborough County, closest to where you live!
  • Wekday opportunities that work with your schedule
  • Set your own weekly schedule each season - we ask for full commitment to the kids on your teams!

What You'll Do
  • Coach 30-45 minute soccer sessions using our proven curriculum
  • Build confidence, coordination, and smiles in every child you coach
  • Bring positive energy and enthusiasm to every session
  • Communicate clearly with parents, preschool staff, and our Director of Coaching
  • Track attendance and session feedback

Who You Are
Responsible - Always on time, organized, and dependable
Professional - Friendly, courteous, and presentable
Enthusiastic - Genuinely excited to work with children; animated and fun
Engaging - Able to connect with 2-8 year olds at their level
Soccer-Savvy - Playing/coaching experience is a plus, but not required
Experienced with Children - You've worked with young children before and understand how to manage a group or willing to learn
Clear to Work - Must pass a Background Check and Child Abuse Clearance

The Job:

  • Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down.

  • Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.

Qualifications:
  • No prior sports/coaching experience required.

  • Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand, jog, and model children's soccer skills.
  • Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.
