The Position:
Our stackers are responsible for organizing assembled trusses and/or wall panels, including similar supports used in residential building construction. Stackers are responsible for properly organizing and labeling finished product and preparing trusses and/or walls to be for outbound shipment, following supervisor's instructions and quality specifications.
Production Stacker Responsibilities Include:
• Operating truss/wall panel stacker lifts and equipment.
• Organize finished trusses/walls together by using bander strapping tools.
• Able to detect quality issues such as metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints.
• Able to safely use tools such as hammers, presses, saws, or pneumatic nail and/or staple guns.
• Properly labels trusses/walls with the appropriate job number.
• Follows safety procedures and standards as established by the company
• Follows quality control procedures and standards as established by the company
• Informs supervisor when material is missing, defective or additional material is needed
• Cleans work area daily
• May include other duties as assigned
Production Stacker Qualifications Include:
• Safety-focused
• Team-oriented
• Ability to work outside for 8+ hours in various weather elements
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. consistently
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach
• Candidate must have excellent attendance
