Effective communication is key—most teams rely on asynchronous tools like Slack, Jira, or Trello to keep everyone aligned. You'll likely participate in regular check-ins or sprint meetings, but much of your work will be self-directed, so strong time management and proactive status updates are essential. Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills help you collaborate remotely and deliver high-quality code efficiently. These skills ensure you can independently handle end-to-end development tasks while meeting the flexible demands of part-time roles.
