As The Jr. Applications Programmer, You Will…
SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park is seeking a Jr. Application Programmer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our software applications, working across both front-end and back-end technologies and collaborating with experienced developers to design, implement, and test new features, as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing code. Additionally, you will support the development, optimization, and testing of backend scripts, API endpoints, and LLM configurations that power team-facing AI tools and agent frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills as a versatile technical professional.
More Specific Responsiblities Include, But are Not Limited To:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of front-end and back-end components of our applications.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects.
  • Learn and apply new technologies and frameworks as needed.
  • Support the development, optimization, and testing of backend scripts, API endpoints, and LLM (Large Language Model) configurations that power team-facing AI tools and agent frameworks.
  • Assist in the product lifecycle, contributing to technical deployment tasks, executing user acceptance testing protocols, and conducting post-deployment validation under senior guidance.
  • Support communication between the development team and other departments, ensuring technical requirements and progress updates are clearly documented.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

We'd Love to Hear People With...
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical coding boot camp/project experience).
  • Basic understanding with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
  • Basic understanding of relational database design, data structures, and the ability to write standard SQL queries.
  • Exposure to generative AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini API, Anthropic) and standard prompting techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud run or serverless architecture platforms (e.g., GCP Cloud Run/Functions).
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Extreme eagerness to learn new coding frameworks.
  • Highly collaborative team-player attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

​Compensation: $28 - $33 per hour
