Location: Aurora, Colorado 80014


Heather Gardens Association (HGA) is seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional to serve as the Board Scribe for the Heather Gardens Metropolitan District Board.


If you have excellent writing skills, enjoy administrative work, and can accurately document meeting discussions while maintaining objectivity and confidentiality, we encourage you to apply.

Position Summary

The Board Scribe provides administrative support to the Heather Gardens Metropolitan District Board by attending Board meetings, preparing accurate and impartial meeting minutes, maintaining official Board records, and assisting with Board-related administrative functions.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Attend regular, special, workshop, committee, and scheduled evening District Board meetings.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and objective meeting minutes.
  • Maintain official Board records and documentation.
  • Track Board actions and assigned follow-up items.
  • Assist with Board correspondence and administrative support.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative support or meeting minute experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Schedule

Part-Time | Varied Hours

Hours are based on the District Board meeting schedule. Work hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on scheduled meetings and Board activities, including evening meetings.

Compensation

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

This is a part-time, non-benefits-eligible position. Heather Gardens does not offer medical, dental, vision, or retirement benefits for part-time roles.
