Description

eden is seeking dependable, energetic, and hospitality-driven Food Runners to join our front-of-house team. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with AM and PM shifts Wednesday through Sunday.


The Food Runner plays an essential role in maintaining smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams while ensuring every dish reaches the correct guest promptly, accurately, and with proper presentation.


Responsibilities

  • Run food efficiently and accurately from the kitchen to guest tables.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of table and seat numbers and the restaurant floor plan.
  • Work closely with the expo/pass, chefs, servers, and service assistants to ensure smooth service.
  • Verify dishes before leaving the pass, including correct table, modifications, and special requests.
  • Pay close attention to food allergies and dietary restrictions and follow all allergy-safety procedures without exception.
  • Properly identify and announce dishes when delivering food to guests.
  • Maintain awareness of course timing and communicate delays or issues immediately.
  • Assist with keeping the pass, service stations, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Support servers and other team members as needed to provide efficient, seamless service.
  • Follow Eden's food safety, sanitation, uniform, and service standards.
  • Demonstrate urgency while maintaining professionalism and composure during high-volume service.
