Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP / Part-Time) – Onsite Occupational Health Clinic

Location: 701 W 7th St Austin, TX 78701
Contract: 08/31/2026 to 12/17/2026
Pay Rate: $70/hr (Paid Weekly)
Allmed Benefits: Vision, Dental, Health Insurance and 401(k)
Schedule: 2–3 days per week, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM / PRN coverage including PTO, CME time and to support special events (flu shot clinics, health fair, etc).

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide acute and primary care services in an onsite corporate health clinic. The Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients while providing high-quality healthcare services to employees and their families.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Family Practice Nurse Practitioner experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a corporate healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide acute and primary care services to employees and eligible family members.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress.
  • Perform clinical procedures and services within scope of practice.
  • Administer vaccines and provide preventive healthcare services.
  • Perform EKGs and phlebotomy as needed.
  • Provide health education, wellness guidance, and patient counseling.
  • Utilize Epic EMR to accurately document patient encounters, assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional, patient-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and clinic staff to coordinate patient care.
  • Follow established clinical protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Texas APRN license.
  • Current Texas RN license.
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Practitioner program.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in an onsite corporate clinic environment.
