Job Summary
This Pediatrician will examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. They counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare. Hours to be determined by Medical Director and new Pediatrician.
Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Perform assessments and diagnoses of patients and offer appropriate treatment
  2. Provide care in age-appropriate manner
  3. Review and develop patient educational material
  4. Supervise Nurse Practitioners on staff scheduled as needed
  5. Develop and uphold a program for quality assurance within the clinic
  6. Keep scheduled hours for extended clinic availability, and maintain schedule flexibility as the clinic expands

Qualifications and Skills
  1. MD or DO degree
  2. 1- 5+ years' experience in pediatric medicine
  3. Licensed in the state of Florida
  4. Board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics
  5. DEA certified
  6. Experience with EHR (electronic health records)
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skill
  8. Bi-lingual Preferred *Spanish not required

Compensation for Full time $190K with benefits, Part time/PRN varies based on number of days in the week.
