Responsibilities:

The General Medical Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient’s physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Safely administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and report adverse reactions.
• Continuously monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and provide timely interventions.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies, including initiating CPR or other life-saving measures when necessary.
