Job description

The Nursing Program is inviting applications for master's (preferred) or baccalaureate prepared part-time clinical instructors for the Fall 2026 semester (August to December 2026).
Qualifications:
  1. Earned MSN.
  2. Two years' (full-time) clinical experience.
  3. Licensed as an RN in South Carolina.
  4. Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring

Responsibilities:
  • Teaches in on-campus simulation laboratory, skills laboratory, and/or inpatient clinical setting
  • supervising eight (8) junior or senior baccalaureate-nursing students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Organize and plan clinical days for students.
  • Communicate weekly with course coordinator.
  • Provide feedback for care plans/ concept maps.
  • Participate in course orientation with course coordinator.
  • Read adjunct faculty and student handbooks.
  • Orient to the clinical facility if not employed in the facility.
  • Submit all needed paperwork, criminal background check, drug screen and vaccination records.
  • Assure completion of necessary student records/reports by designated due date and forward to course coordinator.
  • Report midterm warnings to the course coordinator for processing.
  • Role model professional behavior and appearance.
