Position Summary
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of the Department.
Essential Functions Additional Information
  • Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
  • Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
  • Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Education: High School diploma preferred.
License: Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice; BLS required; Handle with Care preferred.
