Part-time flower delivery drivers are individuals who transport floral arrangements and gifts from florists or flower shops to customers, typically working less than 40 hours per week. Their main responsibilities include picking up orders, ensuring flowers are handled carefully to prevent damage, delivering them to specified locations on time, and sometimes assisting with customer service or processing payments. This job often requires a valid driver's license, good organizational skills, and a friendly demeanor. Flexible hours make it a suitable option for students, retirees, or those seeking supplemental income. Drivers may use a company vehicle or their personal car, depending on the employer's requirements.

Job description

Description
Toppers Pizza is hiring Delivery Drivers at our company-owned Stevens Point, WI store at 249 Division Street. Part-time and full-time delivery driver positions are open now. You'll use your own vehicle to deliver pizza, TopperStix™, and wings to customers in and around Stevens Point, and your tips and mileage reimbursement go home with you the same day you earn them.
Pay
Every driver earns two different rates on the same shift. This is not a starting wage and not a range you work up to. You earn both rates from your first shift:
  • $8.50/hour for your in-store time: waiting on orders, prep, sidework, dishes, and phones
  • $5.50/hour plus tips for the time you're physically out on the road on a delivery

Tips are earned on the road and come on top of your hourly rate. Stevens Point drivers have averaged about $16 per hour in wages plus tips. Tips vary by shift, weather, and season, and are not guaranteed.
Vehicle Reimbursement
You also receive $2.00 per delivery to help cover gas and wear on your own vehicle. This is a non-taxable expense reimbursement rather than wages, so no taxes come out of it.
Your tips and your per-delivery reimbursement are both paid out the same day. You don't wait for a paycheck to see them.
Schedule
We're open nights and weekends, so that's when we need drivers most, including closing shifts that run late. Beyond that, scheduling is flexible. Part-time or full-time, both work. Students, second-jobbers, and anyone looking to pick up extra hours, we'll build a schedule around you.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver food orders safely and on time using your own vehicle
  • Greet every customer with real energy. You're the only Toppers Team Member most of them will ever meet
  • Handle cash and card payments accurately
  • Verify orders before you leave so nothing shows up wrong
  • Wash dishes and put them away promptly. A clean store doesn't wait
  • Work as a team with the rest of the crew between runs: prepping, folding boxes, cleaning, answering phones
  • Pitch in wherever the store needs you, without being asked twice
  • Follow all traffic laws and keep your vehicle clean and road-ready

Benefits
  • Competitive pay package
  • Tips and per-delivery reimbursement paid same day
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Free meals while working*
  • Referral bonuses for bringing your friends on board
  • Holiday pay on certain holidays we're open
  • Payroll advance on earned income, up to $500 per pay period
  • Free Toppers uniform t-shirt
  • Up to 90% company-paid medical insurance*
  • 401(k) with up to a 4% company match
  • Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Accounts (Dependent Care and Health)*
  • Voluntary dental, vision, and life insurance*
  • Voluntary hospital indemnity, accident, and critical illness insurance*
  • Voluntary group pet insurance*
  • Rapid advancement through our Manager-in-Training program, with a pay raise at each level

*Free meals are subject to program guidelines. Insurance and account benefits are for those who meet the qualifications.
How We Work: The Toppers Way
  • Live with integrity. Say what you mean and do what you say, especially when nobody's watching
  • Have fun. Yes, it's work. Enjoy it anyway
  • Bring it, with passion. Show up ready to make things happen
  • Kill it on the details. Anticipate what customers need and fix it before they have to ask
  • Be noticeably friendly. Positive energy, in person and on the phone
  • Tell it like it is, with tact. Honest, but constructive
  • Drive yourself. You take the reins without waiting to be told
