Job description

Group Exercise Instructor who specializes in serving the mature exerciser in formal class structure such as Silver Sneakers.
A bit about the work you will do:
  • Provide instruction and fun in any or all of the following specialty classes such as Silver Sneakers; Silver Fit and related.
  • Create a welcoming class environment for all fitness levels while observing all participants level of exertion for safety.
  • Clearly communicate to motivate and encourage participants to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Exhibit a passion for fitness including an appetite for continued learning and positive role model to others.
  • Nurture individual and group camaraderie among participants and team.
  • Keep accurate class attendance records.
  • Attend required training sessions, workshops, staff meetings and participates continued education.
  • Follow Healthtrax and Program Licensing agency policies and procedures.
  • Be happy to come to work with enthusiasm that is contagious!

Part time, class schedule to be determined.
A bit about you:
  • Preferably, Silver Sneaker certified or will complete the online certification process prior to teaching.
  • Happy to teach a minimum average of 2 classes/week, possibly more.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid.
